Biography

Started in 2012, SECONDLADY is a 4-piece international band based out of Osaka, Japan. With two US and Japanese members, their sound is a blend of 90s American grungy pop rock and early 00s Japanese melocore (melodic hardcore). They found early success in 2016 with a stream of festival shows in Japan and their first international gig in New Caledonia and Blackwoodstock Festival, however, between 2019 and 2022, they went through several member changes for guitar, bass and drums. In 2023, they began playing regularly at punk havens in Osaka City like Hokage and King Cobra, and began plans for their first US tour in summer of 2024.
